Alexandra Bradshaw's hatha-flow teaching style blends elements from the Iyengar and Ashtanga Yoga traditions. She also draws inspiration from various spiritual and somatic disciplines including Qigong Meditation, the Feldenkrais Method, Pilates, Gaga, and Classical/ Contemporary Dance. She brings over twenty years of yoga, dance, and somatic movement study to the yoga mat (RYT, YogaWorks; BA & BFA Univ. of California, Irvine).
Long time student James Sidel says of her teaching: “I've had a number of excellent yoga teachers over the past several years. But Alex's class and teaching I revere more than anyone's. Practicing with her one feels like they're doing yoga, not merely taking a class. This practice is as much spiritual science and art as it is play. And in this practice we see the body anew every single time. And she makes us laugh. Pleasure comes in the doing, not merely the finish.”
“Alex has a solid understanding of physiology and motion. She has an open, grounded, and thoughtful way of describing yoga asanas and concepts that brings out your own innate understanding and realization. She is a true living inspiration that has enriched my life.”

“Passionate, energetic, Alex combines hatha-flow yoga with Qigong, modern dance, and sheer athleticism. A perfect fit! Each class has a different theme, but every one focuses on asanas that help you become more aware of the mind-body-spirit connection. I’m grateful to have found such an inspirational teacher.”
